The sportswear company Puma teamed up with Sagem Wireless to present a cell phone that “reflects the DNA of the PUMA’s brand”. We, here at TheBlogIsMine dot Com are not usually like the cross-industry phones like this one, but the Puma Phone is much more interesting.

The Puma’s Phone features a QVGA TFT 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen, a 3.2 MP camera with 6x zoom and LED flash, Bluetooth photo sharing, video calling, recording and playback, FM radio and GPS.

Another interesting features include a back-panel solar cell good for charging the phone and a number of features built to support the your Puma’s active lifestyle including pedometer, stopwatch and GPS tracker. It also has some kind of “spin and scratch” music player. It weighs just 115 grams and measures 102mm x 56mm x 13mm. Not a bad little package overall.

The Puma Phone ”roared into life” at Mobile World Congress and will drop in the European market in April of this year. No word on pricing or availability elsewhere yet. [via Engadget]
