According to AndroidSpin report, the next HTC Android device to make a big splash in the market will be the Scorpion. While the site posts a disclaimer that it can’t validate the authenticity of the information, some technical info we have.

The Scorpion will have a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processor, WiMax compatibility and will run the FRE65C build of Android 2.2. If these specs hold true, this phone should leave current Android owners drooling with envy.

It could be a rumored smartbook as opposed to a handset according to Engadget speculates. There’s no info on when exactly the Scorpion will hit the market, but it’s not expected for some time. [AndoridSpin via Engadget]
