Julien Breton is a french photographer, calligrapher and light painter from Nantes. In 2001 he started studying arabic calligraphy to achive, melting it with ‘tags’ lettering, a new calligraphy that was a perfect mixture between east and west cultures.

Julien Breton has just  released a new series of light calligraphy as an identity for the dance and music crew Compagnie Cortex. Breton illustrates the movements of the Cortex dancers with his flawless golden calligraphy, a departure from the artist’s signature work with architecture and nature.
