Jaeger Le-Coultre has re-designed their classic Atmos Clock. This exclusive table top clock continues a tradition over 80 years in the making, originally engineered by craftsman Jean-Léon Reutter. Now, Marc Newson, an australian designer, re-fashioned the venerable Jaeger Le-Coultre Atmos Clock with a Baccarat crystal case that contains a new movement, the Jaeger-LeCoultre 566 Calibre.
The face of the Jaeger Le-Coultre Atmos 566 Clock (see the picture above) is both minimal and futuristic, with simple hour and minute marks on its perimeter and detailed astrologic charting at its center. Behind the face, the 566 Calibre movement rotates silently to accurately measure every second with precision.
This Jaeger Le-Coultre Atmos 566 Clock is a real piece of art for the extremely modern house. [via Jaeger-Lecoultre]
