Google is finding that selling mobile phones directly isn’t as easy as it may have thought ex facte. So, customers have been experiencing problems and have found communication with Google to be less than satisfactory.
Google has set up an online customer support system, including support forums and a contact form, but often takes days to respond to problems/questions via email. Customers are clamoring for a faster means of communication like the phone support that is standard fare for most consumer goods.
But Google thinks in a different way. Big G explained the situation to BBC: “We’ve worked closely with our Nexus One launch partners to make support available through a variety of channels. This is a new way to purchase and support a mobile phone, and we’re committed to sorting out the few kinks that do exist.” [via ArsTechnica]
