In the second interesting lawsuit of this mid-December Friday, Apple is countersuing Nokia. Back in October, Nokia filed suit against Apple for 10 different instances of patent infringement stemming from the iPhone. So now, Apple has decided to countersue for patent infringement. Only Apple ups the ante with 13 different alleged infringements.

Apple’s lawsuit says that Nokia decided to “copy the iPhone” and ripped off such technologies as the UI, connection to a computer and teleconferencing. They also deny all those Nokia charges too. In response, Nokia gave the legal standby that it will review the charges and respond “in due course”. [via AssociatedPress]
