The U.S. market was given a new gadget that combines the functional versatility of a mobile phone with a pico projector. The upcoming LG Expo is a standard smartphone slider featuring a responsive touchscreen at 800×480, full Qwerty keypad, 5MP camera, GPS, Bluetooth and etc. The phone will be built on a 1 GHz Qualcomm. The phone will benefit from other features including fingerprint ID pad, accelerometer, proximity sensor and FM radio. The integrated projector will not come standard, but will be available as an add-on. It will offer up to 40 inches of screen size.
The new LG Expo will also become the first U.S. mobile phone to feature LG-S interface. LG-S interface is a modified version of WinMo 6.5. The phone will reportedly go on sale through business channels beginning on December 7. AT&T will carry the LG Expo. [LG via PC World]
