Rihanna sings about how she was assaulted by Chris Brown on her new album. The RnB star wrote ‘Cold Case Love’ about how she was attacked by her boyfriend Chris Brown not long after the incident in February. She said, “It was one of the first songs I did for the album and it is one of the most emotional.” Rihanna has also revealed that she was desperate to get back into the recording studio after the assault, so she could concentrate on her career rather than what had happened to her. She added, “When I was given time off in March it was a little crazy. Being at home was driving me mad. I couldn’t go anywhere. It was, like, ‘Look at the poor victim!’ So I called my label and said, ‘I’m ready.’ ”
She recorded some of the LP, entitled ‘Rated R’, in London and admits she loves the UK capital. Rihanna, who releases the album on November 26 said, “We made a lot of the album in London. We took two big trips there and spent some time just figuring out the record. London is one of my favorite cities, it’s where I get most of my creative energy.” [via Inquisitr]
