Chrysler will unveil its five-year plan next week and that plan involves dropping a lot of Chrysler models in favor of bringing in some from Fiat SpA. Gone are vehicles like the Chrysler PT Cruiser and Jeeps like the Patriot and Compass. The best news is that the plan reportedly involves bringing Alfa Romeos back to the States as of 2012. The Fiat 500 is another future import involved in the reported plans. Fiat and Chrysler are also working on several new models together. We look forward to hearing the full details on November 4. Replacing some stale Chrysler models with an infusion of sportier, European vehicles is a step in the right direction. [via EgmCarTech]
