Researchers for Philips Design think they may have found ways to change the way we’ll grow our food 15 to 20 years from now.

Researchers for Philips Design think they may have found ways to change the way we’ll grow our food 15 to 20 years from now. Their latest work involves three new projects. First is the “home farming” (see the picture above) concept that is actually an indoor, self-contained vertical garden with a shelf-like skeleton where you can grow plants and raise fish. There’s also a nutrition monitor dubbed the “diagnostic kitchen” which features a “swallow-able” sensor. Other than providing info about your food, this innovative technology can tell what and when to eat based on your to-the-moment health. The third is the “food creation” concept that is a cooking device that will combine the given ingredients to meet the desired shape and consistency. Check the gallery below for more pictures.
