If you are that kind of shopper that can’t stand a normal stroll down the aisle, maybe this shopping cart is what you really need. UNIT, an automatic cart concept with a unique approach to shopping. Each one would have a built-in navigator for finding the item you want. You then zip through the aisles on electric power, dodging old ladies and children to reach your destination. Once there, rotate the cart’s storage compartment to bring up an empty slot, allowing you to deposit goods without straining your back. It’d be a lawsuit waiting to happen in real life, but as a concept it looks amazing. [via TheDesignBlog]
