BFG, the leading provider of 3D graphics cards, has unveiled its new Deimos notebook. The gaming notebook is designed as a desktop replacement and features an 18.4-inch display.

BFG, the leading provider of 3D graphics cards, has unveiled its new Deimos notebook. The gaming notebook is designed as a desktop replacement and features an 18.4-inch display. The entry-level Deimos will be powered by a 2.53 GHz Core 2 Duo, while the notebook will top off with a 2.53 GHz Core 2 Extreme. Graphics begin at dual GeForce GTS 260M chipsets, while the top model receives a boost to dual GeForce GTX 280Ms. The notebook also features two RAID-striped hard drives with an optional third back-up drive that can create a total of 1.5TB of storage.

The new BFG Gaming Notebook is expected to be ready for market by the end of this month. Prices will begin at $2,299, which includes the aforementioned Core 2 Duo and dual GeForce GTS 260Ms, 4GB of RAM, a 5.1 surround sound speaker system and two 250GB hard drives. Options include replacing the DVD drive with a Blu-ray burner, up to 8GB of RAM and a solid state drive for the third drive option. [via Electronista]
