Lenny Kravitz In New York City, Estate of the Day

The Grammy-winning performer, Lenny Kravitz has reportedly put the condo on the market several times over the years and submitted the apartment to multiple renovations. Curbed breaks down the history of the pad which actually began in 2002 when he put the 5-bedroom penthouse up for sale for $17 million. Back then Kravitz’s home reflected a more urban sex palace vibe but now it’s been renovated to appeal to a more general audience. The rock star vibe has been replaced by white, bright, posh and generic. The latest makeover is back on the market for $14.9 million and looks to be the most mature iteration of the home thus far. The 6,000 square-foot condo has five bedrooms, six bathrooms and 3,000 square feet terrace outfitted with a wood-burning fireplace. A suspended glass staircase carries guests to the second story, where the master suite and three additional bedrooms are housed. Another glass staircase leads toa huge roof deck with a barbecue.
