It’s reported that Sony Inc. has finalized the specs on its Sony Memory Stick XC, which was discussed during CES as “Memory Stick Format Series for Extended High Capacity”.

It’s reported that Sony Inc. has finalized the specs on its Sony Memory Stick XC, which was discussed during CES as “Memory Stick Format Series for Extended High Capacity”. The series will include a Duo, Micro, and HG variety of memory sticks with capacity up to the whopping 2 terrabytes. Sony Insider is careful to point out that the 2TB is just the maximum capacity of the series and that it may still be years down the road. The memory sticks are also expected to be backwards compatible. [via Sony Insider]
