Which Sunglasses Will Suite Your Face Shape

In the current day and age, with our lives surrounded by designer fashion and global warming, having a suitable pair of sunglasses is required for both. A good pair of sunglasses will finish off your outfit and they can also sometimes cover up your eyes after a night on the town. As for the global warming, with temperatures and sunlight increasing, your eyes need more protection from harmful UV rays than ever before.

So now that you have some good excuses for buying some sunglasses, you now have to make the decision as to which pair to buy. Now that’s the most complicated part.

Just like when you have to buy normal glasses, the ones that you buy are based on the shape of your face. The majority of people come under 2 different face shapes, round and oval. A round face is where the width and length of the face are very similar and generally, round faced people are aware that they have a round face. As for the other shape, oval, this is where the height of your face is longer than the width.

Once you have decided on the shape of your face, you can decide on the shape of your sunglasses. If you think you have a rounded face then you would be best off with a rectangle or square frame. Unfortunately, if you have a round face you are slightly limited because many companies don’t design rectangular sunglasses.

If you think you have more of an oval shaped face, then you are not limited at all, you can wear pretty much anything you want. You are not just limited to square ones, you get away with wearing big sunglasses like many of the celebrities, or you can opt for something smaller.Police sunglasses or maybe you prefer a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses, you should be able to pull it off.

There are a couple of other face shapes that you may have if you don’t fit into either oval or circle. If you have more of a heart shaped face then you would be best suited to some thin rimmed aviation style glasses. Finally, if you have a more square shaped face, then you don’t want to add more angles so a pair of curved sunglasses would be best.

Just remember through, just because you pay a high price for the sunglasses, it doesn’t mean that they will protect you against UV rays. Make sure that the glasses come with a sticker on them stating how well they are protecting your eyes.
