Je Design, a car tuning company from Germany, has released its appearance and performance package for the Volkswagen Scirocco.
With the addition of a new ECU, the Volkswagen Scirocco TDI produces 180 hp (133 kW), an increase of more than 25 % from the standard 140 hp (103 kW). The maximum torque has also increases from 320 Nm to 400 Nm at 1,750 rpm to 2,500 rpm. The Volkswagen Scirocco TDI by Je Design sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.4 seconds, 0.9 seconds faster than the standard Scirocco. The top speed also increases from 207 km/h to 213 km/h.
The Scirocco TDI CR accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds, 0.7 seconds faster than the stock 7.8 seconds. The top speed has also improved from 222 km/h to 229 km/h.
The Je Design Scirocco TDI performance package including assembly costs 1,249 Euros while the Scirocco TDI CR performance package costs 1,449 Euros including VAT and 12-month warranty.
The Je Design bodykit for the Scirocco is made of high-quality ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) while the CNC-milled material ensures a low weight, perfect fitting accuracy and at the same time, the highest material stability.
For 919 Euros including VAT, customers can get a new front spoiler with a center sword in carbon look, a new side skirts with air inlets and a rear skirt attachment. The gull-wing doors cost 1,549 Euros.
The performance parts such as stainless steel muffler with two central oval end pipes (899 Euros), lowering springs (299 Euros) with serial shock absorbers that lower the car by 30 mm and 19-inch multispoke wheels measuring at 8×19” in shadow silver (2,810 Euros) or graphite matt with polish edges (2,930 Euros) wrapped with 235/35 R19 tires.
Americans will never admit it, but they are broke, and in a few years, not right now,too arrogant and assured, they will desperately need a TDI, diesel/electric hybrid with lighter plastic body parts, as they will be selling their 12 year old virgin daughters by the pound to Saudi Princes for oil! The poor American assholes don’t see the declining dollar, too proud I suppose, but when it takes one thousand of them to buy one troy ounce of Gold, something is up, and it ain’t me! Keep making lighter body parts for the VW’s and work on that diesel, so it will run on Bio-diesel! by the end of a decade, Americans will be rendering each other’s corpses for oil and screaming for Euro-diesels, right in Exxon’s face!
