To tell the truth the numbers are amazing… After selling around 290,000 units in May,2009 Nintendo Wii has officially sold to the tune of 20 Million units – in just 31 months on the market. That’s 20 million consumers that are now slightly less slovenly. As if the raw numbers weren’t painful enough, Nintendo used the occasion to throw a left jab at Microsoft and Sony’s recently-announced foray into motion-based gaming: “The continued enthusiastic consumer response to our products shows that Nintendo has something for everyone. For Nintendo, precision motion controls and social gaming are realities today,” said Nintendo Executive VP of Sales and Marketing, Cammie Dunaway. [via 1 Up Dot Com]
