cheating

Like others  I don’t like spam, cheating and etc. But Read This Story (Not Mine, of course):

“You are a blogger and you try blogging. You post every single day for several monthes. Sometimes you post more than 7 times a day. You comment on other sites, you do whatever professional bloggers said to do. You’re even paid for some reviews.

You check your Adsense or AdBrite (or something like this) account and see $10.45 and you think back to the 2 times you click your own ads when you are at the library and a friend’s house. So you start clicking your ads from computer to computer. You go to university (colledge, libarary) and click some ads, get your friends to click ads, and when you get sister’s (brother’s) home you click.

Before you know it you made $100 and now going to get a check when the time rolls around. You have made the bigtime! You continue this for a few days. You will be at $1000 in a few days! Nobody is hurt and you are going to get a fat check for $1000 soon!

You drive down what advertisers are willing to pay. You drive down what all decent publishers make for each click. Is this a problem?! It is, and publishers should be pissed at people who fraudulently click their own ads.

Then one day you try to log in, and see the message “Access is denied”. You’ll never get your check. The damage is done.

p.s. So don’t be a spammer and don’t click at your own ads.
