Today Volkswagen has unveiled the Golf GTI “Worthersee 09” at the Wörthersee Tour, the gathering of Audi and Volkswagen enthusiasts.

Today Volkswagen has unveiled the Golf GTI “Worthersee 09” at the Wörthersee Tour, the gathering of Audi and Volkswagen enthusiasts.

At the exterior, the Volkswagen Golf GTI Worthersee 09 comes in a special glowing red color “Firespark Metallic”, high-gloss black 19-inch alloy spoke wheels with red trim line, radiator grille screen with classic GTI stripes and new smoked LED taillights.

Inside, the Golf GTI Worthersee 09 features high-end aluminum tread plates with “GTI Worthersee 09″ signature, brushed aluminum and glossy black painted frames around the air vents, floor mats with red borders and newly designed sport comfort seats with integrated head restraints featuring black nappa for the outer surfaces and flash red nappa for the seat side supports, boarded by light “Berry White” leather piping.

The Volkswagen Golf GTI Worthersee 09 Edition is powered by the new 2.0-liter TSI engine that produces 210 PS (155 kW). This allows the GTI to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds with the top speed of 238 km/h.
