I think a lot about writing an article devoted to blog farming. A lot of you would like to know how to start doing this. I just want to say that blog farming isn’t hard at all. It requires a lot of hard work, but once you get the seeds planted, it is pretty easy. If you want to have more control over you collection of websites, blog farming is something that you should learn. If you’re a blogger who only blogs for fun, this post is not for you. Blog farming takes a lot of time and energy. You will also need to spend a few more dollars paying for extra web hosting, ip addresses, and domains. Below, I will show you how to make money online by blog farming.
It’s all pretty basic really. Blog farming can be translated literally. What you’re doing is farming a new set of blogs. Usually blog farming is done to help you with the Serps. The idea is that you will create a new batch of PR blogs. You keep doing this with the seasons. Google updates the toolbar PR every 3 months or so. So, you have about 4 updates every year. I like to think of them as seasons. If part of you blog monetization methods is to sell links on PR blogs, or sell off your PR blog, then blog farming will be something that you need to do. The purpose of these blog farms is to build links to each one of your websites.
Getting links can be a time consuming thing. It can also become expensive if you end up buying links for SEO purposes. But, if you have your own collection of high PR blogs, this process can be a cake walk.
How to start your own blog farm. I will write a more detailed advanced version later of this. But to start, I would recommend you get yourself a few free blogs up and running. Start a new blogspot and wordpress dot com blog. They are free and you don’t have to worry about ip addresses or domain names. You don’t even have to worry about hosting costs. To get your new blogs indexed by google, write a few posts with links to authority sites. Then spend some time getting some free do follow comment links. Make sure that you use your desired keywords for those backlinks.
Now you wait. Like farming, you have to be patient. You keep watering your blog with updates. You build more links to that blog. During the next google PR update, you should get some sort of PR if you get enough links. Get some social traffic to boost your other ranks. This will help your farmed blog look more real.
I will cover more on the specifics in the advanced farming post. You basically need to send Medium PR links to your high PR blogs. Then you send high PR links to you low PR blogs. I am still working out and learning as I go here. You should experiment and see what works the best for you.
