Steve Mark Saleen (SMS Company, see the official site for more details: www.smssupercars.com) has announced that its first signature series ultra-high performance vehicles are ready to go into production.
The vehicles are the SMS 570 Challenger and the SMS 570X Challenger which are based on the 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T platform featuring a SMS designed and engineered SMS 296 Supercharger installed on the 5.7-liter Hemi engine to produce 500 hp to over 700 hp. The SMS 570 Challenger and the SMS 570X Challenger will also feature SMS Red Butterfly Induction hood and other SMS ultra-high performance components such as drivetrain, suspension, aerodynamics, tires, wheels and the interior.
The MSRP for the 2009 SMS 570 Challenger and SMS 570X Challenger are set to start at $60,000 to $70,000 and both models will carry a bumper-to-bumper factory warranty.
