Mazda Motor Corporation of Japan has announced that it will debut the new-generation Mazda3 five-door hatchback at the Bologna Motor Show on December 3, 2008. The 2010 Mazda3 Hatchback will feature the same characteristic as the four-door Mazda3 sedan that was just unveiled at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show.
According to Mazda, the 2010 Mazda 3 Hatchback will offer even further advanced environment performance, including the world’s first vehicle catalyst to be constructed with single nanotechnology which enable Mazda to reduce its use of platinum and palladium.
European customers will get new engine lineup, the 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine that was just launched in the Mazda6 which is comply with euro Stage5 regulations. The fuel economy and CO2 emissions has improved greatly compared to the current 2.0-liter version.
